On the last Thursday of every month (5-6pm), we provide a FREE meal to anyone and everyone who wishes to come. You are encouraged to come through the center door on the south-side (parking lot) of the church, and come into our fellowship hall. Have a seat, and we'll serve you a salad, a main entree with side dishes, dessert and drinks. You may be able to take food home, too!
We host many AA groups throughout the week, some of which are closed, but some are open to newcomers. Feel free to contact our church office for further information or check out, or visit the national website at aa.org.
We proudly host one of the offices for New Source Counseling Centers, where they have been providing quality counseling services in communities throughout Ohio. As an organization, they are committed to providing treatment at competitive prices while focusing on the whole person. This includes the physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the individual. For more information, please visit: https://www.newsourcecounseling.com/
These events are for the youth (accompanied by an adult) of the surrounding community. For Palm Friday (two Fridays before Easter), we do crafts, hunt for Easter eggs, learn about the Easter story from the Bible, and end with a snack. Similarly for St. Nick Nite (usually the first/second Friday in December), we do crafts, sing Christmas carols, visit with St. Nick and conclude with a snack.
We often have book clubs that are relevant to what's going on in the community of Maple Heights, as well as guest speakers focusing on important topics.
We encourage you to keep up-to-date on all events and on-going ministries of the Covenant family by checking out our latest newsletters and bulletins under the "Good News" tab above.
