  “God’s work, our hands” is the theme of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is evident here at The Lutheran Church of the Covenant that God continues to work through the ministries that are carried out in Jesus’ name by the faithful members of this congregation. As Lutherans, we believe that we are justified by grace through faith and these works bear witness to that faith. As Christians, we respond to God’s grace by giving of our time, talent and treasure to build God’s Kingdom on earth. Our ministries are divided into four areas:

Our First 100 Years

  Our website features articles about the long, rich history of The Lutheran Church of the Covenant, including its founding congregations, St. Andrew Lutheran Church of Cleveland, which was founded in 1912, and Trinity Lutheran Church of Maple Heights, which was founded in 1920.
